Last Will & Testament:

One simple sentence in your will can be the determining factor in how your charitable funds are allocated after your passing. Your compassion impacts our community and will make a difference in a child’s life. Leave your legacy to NewPath in your will by including this one sentence:

“I [Full Name], residing at [Insert Address], gift to NewPath, a tax-exempt non-profit 501c(3) (Tax ID #: 84-2733413), located at 4721 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH  45237, [Dollar or Percentage Amount] to be used as deemed appropriate towards the mission of NewPath.”

Beneficiary Designations:

Did you know that you can name NewPath as a beneficiary in your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), 401K, Life Insurance Policy, or Commercial Annuity? This is perhaps the easiest way to pass on a lasting legacy that will impact NewPath without potential tax consequences* – since we are a tax-exempt, non-profit 501c(3) organization. You have our guarantee that our team at NewPath will work with you to identify the best legacy plan that meets your needs and circumstances.

To designate NewPath as a beneficiary, contact your IRA or 401K Plan Administrator or your chosen insurance company to request a Change of Beneficiary Form. Upon receipt, name NewPath as a primary or contingent beneficiary with your chosen percentage (i.e., between 1-100%). Once this is complete, mail the form back to your administrator or insurance company for proper verification.

Please Note: Beneficiary designations can be changed at any time and as often as you’d like. Follow the same instructions listed above. It is also important to review your beneficiary designations every few years to ensure that necessary adjustments are made.

*Naming an organization as a beneficiary will not create a taxable event for the beneficiary at any Federal Tax Rate.

See Your Gifts In Action:

If you are 72 years of age or older, you can gift up to $100,000 to NewPath and receive tax benefits in return.

A gift to a tax-exempt non-profit 501c(3), like NewPath, won’t generate taxable income (or a tax deduction) as long as the gift is $100,000 or less. A Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA can also be a way to make a charitable donation to NewPath. To make an RMD gift, contact your plan administrator.

There are many ways to invest your legacy with NewPath, both during and after your lifetime. To learn more about NewPath or to notify us of an intended gift, please contact:

Please consult with your tax advisor, investment advisor, or CPA to determine if your gift will be considered a taxable event.
