NewPath is the oldest social service agency, founded by the Sisters of Charity as an orphanage over 190 years ago. In the 1980s and 1990s, NewPath transitioned from a traditional orphanage to an innovative Behavioral Health Agency. Today, we bring hope to families who need it most and build a stronger community. Invest in providing basic needs to the children and families we support daily. Many of the youth we support only have a single outfit or pair of shoes and struggle to obtain personal and hygiene items.
Invest in building and maintaining infrastructure for the children we support. These infrastructures include but are not limited to community-based apartments for youth transitioning to adulthood, school classrooms and gyms, groundskeeping, and therapy spaces.
Invest in providing year-round holiday fun to 500+ children and teens, many for the first time. Give the gift of lasting holiday memories for annual celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, winter holidays, and more.
Invest in program innovation and expansion to ensure continued premium care for the children and families we support. As the needs of the community continue to change, we must also adapt our programming.
Invest in supporting the mental well-being of our NewPath team, who are constantly surrounded by stories of tragedy and trauma while providing quality care to children and families that need it most. Help those who help others.
Invest in continuing NewPath’s mission across all programs and initiatives to further support children and families on their journey toward healing.
