NewPath is making it easier than ever for youth and families to get the behavioral health support they need. With flexible options and collaboration across providers, NewPath helps families access the right care, right when they need it.

Improving Access to Care Through Open Access Walk‑In Hours & Medication Management

At NewPath Child & Family Solutions, we believe that access to care should never be a barrier to getting help. Families shouldn’t have to wait weeks for support, navigate confusing entry points, or struggle to figure out which services are the right fit. That’s why NewPath offers Open Access Walk‑In Hours — a simple, direct way for youth and families to connect with behavioral health services quickly, safely, and compassionately.

Whether a child is struggling with emotions, behavior, focus, anxiety, depression, or other mental health needs, NewPath designed our walk‑in model to remove delays, reduce frustration, and make it easier to begin the healing journey.

What Are Open Access Walk‑In Hours?

Medication management Open Access Walk‑In Hours allow families to come in without an appointment to complete an initial diagnostic assessment. This change means:

  • No waitlists
  • No referral required (referrals can still be made)
  • No long intake process
  • Same‑day connection with our professional care team

During the walk‑in visit, our clinicians help determine the level of support needed and recommend services based on each child’s unique presentation, symptoms, and goals.

Medication Management Now Easier Than Ever — Including MEDSOM‑Only Clients

One of the most important updates for 2026 is that NewPath can now serve MEDSOM‑only clients.

  • Youth can access medication management services even if they are not receiving therapy or other programs at NewPath.
  • We support youth who are currently connected to other providers, making medication services more flexible and accessible.
  • Our psychiatric team collaborates seamlessly with outside therapists, case managers, school partners, and healthcare professionals.

Medication sometimes plays a critical role in stabilizing symptoms, improving emotional regulation, supporting attention and focus, and increasing overall well‑being. Families shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get the help their child needs — and at NewPath, they don’t have to.

A Flexible, Integrated Approach to Care

Every child is different. Their care should be too.

NewPath’s model allows services to be stand-alone or combined to reach the best solution for the child, teen, or young adult.

Stand‑Alone Services

Some youth may only need medication management, or only need case management, or only therapy. NewPath makes it easy to access just the service that fits.

Combined Services

For others, the best outcomes come from using more than one service together, such as:

  • Therapy + Medication Management
  • Case Management + Therapy
  • Day Treatment + Medication Support
  • Any combination that is the best solution for youth (including collaboration among other providers)

This multi‑service approach is guided entirely by what is clinically appropriate and what best supports each youth’s growth, stability, and success.
