Trauma Informed Care

Assists in identifying suspected behavioral health and educational concerns, along with providing on-going treatment recommendations. Ages 3-22. No Referral Needed.
Psychiatric assessment and medication management for youth in need of continued psychiatric support. Ages 3-22. No Referral Needed.
OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Individual, group and family therapy for youth with home, school, and office based settings. Specialized tracks available for some diagnoses and age groups. Ages 3-22 and Family Therapy. No Referral Needed.
Community based case management working directly with youth and their families wherever the behavioral concern occurs. Ages 3-22. No Referral Needed.
Intensive outpatient services focusing on a successful transition from youth into adulthood. Starting as early as age 14 and as late as age 24 in some counties. Ages 16-22. No Referral Needed
IHBT provides intensive, family centered, home-based mental health treatment and supports to enable youth to live in their homes and prevent out-of-home placement. Ages 4-17. Referral Based.
Providing a highly structured and secured living environment to assist youth with severe emotional or behavioral concerns. Ages 5 – 17. Referral Based.
Providing transitional and therapeutic foster homes for children birth to 21, with a special focus on youth with behavioral health concerns. Both temporary and long term placements available with possible options to adopt. Foster parents must be 18+.
TRANSITIONAL YOUNG ADULT SERVICES
Community based apartments for youth transitioning to adulthood, including those aging out of foster care. On-site resident manager, life coach and case manager. Ages 16 – 21. Referral Based.
Our JOURNEY Housing Program offers housing to Hamilton County resident young adults who are enrolled in a JOURNEY program and have potential to live independently (IE: JOURNEY TIP or ACT Case Management programs). We have housing available in 4 local apartment complexes, 2 complexes for young men, and 2 complexes for young women. Each unit comes fully furnished and move-in ready. Ages 18 – 21. Referral Based.
An Independent Living Program providing current foster youth with housing, progressing education, building career plans, and life skills. Referral-based: Hamilton county JFS only Ages 18 – 21. Referral Based.
Providing guidance and support to former foster youth with access to housing, education, employment, and physical/mental health wellness. Ages 18 – 21. Referrals by Hamilton county JFS only.
EDUCATION & DAY TREATMENT
Therapeutic learning environment for students K-12. Individualized instruction and structured classrooms. Grades K-12. Referral Based.
Daily group therapy offers a therapeutic peer environment to support positive social and emotional development and relationships. After school option also available. K – 12. Referral Based.
Trauma Informed Care Trainings
Trauma Informed Care Trainings help us in understanding the triggers of trauma are important in order to be more aware of how to interact with traumatized youth. Learn triggers & interactions for more positive interaction with children, students, and clients.
Embedded mental health & behavioral health staff & services in public & private school and community settings. Grades PK-12 or Ages 3-22
Our Central Access Department is available to answer any questions regarding our behavioral health services and to help guide you to the program that can best meet your needs. Referrals can be made by calling Central Access directly Monday – Friday or by using the Referral Form.
