Santa sets up workshop in St. Joseph Orphanage

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Gift-giving is one of the highlights of the holiday season, but for the hundreds of children at St. Joseph Orphanage, even a single present isn’t always a guarantee.
“The children that we serve, their families are struggling to even afford the basic necessities,” said Elysa Hamlin, with St. Joseph. “The gift that they get at St. Joseph Orphanage could be their only Christmas gift for the year.”
That’s why the orphanage is working to make sure every resident child gets a gift this year. Santa will even pay the kids a visit on Dec. 18 to deliver the presents.
