Ohio Children’s Alliance Award Winner

November 6, 2019

Our very own Susan Ballard is a recipient of Ohio Children’s Alliance George Stevens Award! Please join us in congratulating her for receiving this esteemed award! She is one of two recipients in the state of Ohio.

Susan Ballard, Chief Operating Officer at NewPath Child & Family Solutions (formerly St. Joseph Orphanage), won this award for her outstanding contribution to Ohio Children’s Alliance Behavioral Health Committee and the Child & Family Health Collaborative of Ohio Governing Council, and the collective mission “to sustainably improve the provision of services to children, young adults, and families.”

Her dedication is an inspiration and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to advocacy for at-risk children. In fact, she worked hard to widen the sphere of knowledge and access to services for families and children. Additionally, she played an important role in broadening the impact of Ohio Children’s Alliance and Ohio’s service providers.

The George Stevens Award for Service to Ohio Children’s Alliance honors a person whose service exemplifies the qualities of George Stevens, founder, and former Executive Director of Oesterlen Services for Youth. Stevens committed to the need for a strong, unified voice for private child-caring agencies and the mission of Ohio Children’s Alliance. He was a charter member of the organization and gave freely of his time, energy, and staff resources in his early years. Above all, his efforts and dedication made Ohio Children’s Alliance a reality.
