A Message from NewPath’s Chief Impact Officer

Despite a snow-filled winter, the generosity shown to NewPath Child & Family Solutions this holiday season warmed the hearts of many. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our donors and partners, we successfully provided holiday gifts to over 600 clients and their families. Most importantly, we gave the gift of happiness to those who often struggle to find it.

Whether you adopted a wish list, contributed to a toy drive, volunteered at an event, made a monetary donation, or shared our mission with your peers, you made a difference for a youth in need. For that, we thank you!

Every day, we witness our mission in action, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community. Thank you for giving us your time, talents, and treasure so that we can continue to Ignite Hope and Change Futures.

-Tricia Mullins, Chief Impact Officer

Supporter Spotlights

Empowering Donor Spotlight – Julie Twyman

Julie Twyman first learned about NewPath through one of our dedicated board members. Her initial involvement began with a generous donation of hygiene items to our resource center. Julie’s passion for helping others led her to collaborate with Ty Holden and his nonprofit, Holden Hands. It was Ty who introduced her to NewPath as a volunteer.

Julie quickly became an integral part of our community, creating her own volunteer engagement activities. This year, she organized a special Valentine’s Day activity for youth in Residential Interventions, which was a tremendous success. The impact of this event was so profound that we are already planning more activity days for our children in residential .

Julie’s dedication to philanthropy is deeply rooted in her family history. Her father, Jack Twyman, was a well-known figure in the Cincinnati area. He played basketball at the University of Cincinnati before joining the Cincinnati Royals and was heavily involved in philanthropic work within the community.

“We are incredibly grateful for Julie’s contributions and look forward to continuing our partnership to create meaningful experiences for the children at NewPath.

– Connie Ring, Director of Philanthropic Giving

Impactful Corporate Partnerships – SAF Holland

In the month of December, they not only contributed to the Christmas program but also donated a monetary gift and had a volunteer day for a handful of their employees to come in and help organize the resource center during the holidays.

“SAF Holland has a strong presence in our community and are willing to give a helping hand where it’s needed!“

– Allie Daria, Corporate Partnership Coordinator

Client Story

A Journey of Healing & Hope

*Ethan’s life was a struggle from the start. With his father absent and his mother battling addiction, he was alone and without hope. During his time with us in Residential Interventions, he never had a single visitor.

Ethan’s time with us was marked by a deep mistrust in adults, stemming from his mother’s broken promises. He engaged in various services, including individual and group therapy, where our team worked tirelessly to help him rebuild his trust.

Before coming to NewPath, Ethan had spent some time in foster care. Unfortunately, this period was turbulent, marked by behavioral issues and further deepening his mistrust of adults.

Ethan’s interest in wildlife and the outdoors became his sanctuary, offering him comfort and peace. This connection to nature was key to his healing.

With time and support, Ethan began to thrive. Now, he is in a loving foster home surrounded by animals, providing him with stability and love. He has returned to school and is excelling.

Ethan’s story is a reminder that with the right support, even the most challenging circumstances can be transformed into a journey of healing and hope.
