A Message from NewPath’s Chief Operations & Impact Officer

Thank you to everyone who attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony a few weeks ago! This is an exciting time to celebrate the success and growth of not only our Residential program but our organization as a whole.

The demand for youth mental and behavioral health services continues to rise across our region. Since 2020, referrals to our Residential Interventions program have surged from nearly 230 to 949 annually. It’s critical that we continue responding to this growing need and meet youth where they are.

To support the increasing regional demand, we’re expanding our Residential Interventions footprint by 50%. By converting an existing administrative building into a sixth unit and adding 16 beds, we’re enhancing access to our state-of-the-art facilities for youth in need of intensive care.

However, none of this success would be possible without the passion and generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners. Thank you for your continued support of our mission to Ignite Hope and Change Futures.

Supporter Spotlights

Empowering Donor Spotlight – Amanda Holbrook

(Written by Amanda Holbrook) I first became involved with NewPath in 2023, serving the incredible kids in Miss Jessica’s class. Our owner at IronRoad was once a St. Joe’s kid himself, and he has always been passionate about giving back. He invited me to join him, and I never looked back. Over time, we built a strong partnership with NewPath, supporting their internal HR needs, which naturally grew into something more—a genuine friendship. Early on, I also met Hannah Klausing, who shared that she, too, was once a NewPath kid. Her company happened to be remodeling my house, and one day when I came home, she asked, “How was your day? What did you do?” When I told her I had been volunteering at NewPath, her face lit up as she said, “I was a NewPath kid.” That moment sparked something deeper in me. Not only did I end up with a beautifully remodeled home, but I also gained a lifelong friend in Hannah. It felt like God was weaving relationships together, creating bonds that will last a lifetime.

“I’m honored to serve on the LEAD Board, helping to raise support and volunteering alongside so many amazing people. It’s a privilege to be part of such a life-changing organization. I genuinely love spending time with the kids and planning events that bring joy, encouragement, and hope into their lives.” – Amanda Holbrook, LEAD Board Chair

Impactful Corporate Partnerships – Davita Dialysis

DaVita Dialysis recently began partnering with NewPath through a back-to-school drive. Volunteers collected hygiene and school supplies, then spent two hours organizing and filling backpacks. DaVita Dialysis later hosted an event for NewPath Academy students where they served lunch, rented a Kona ice truck as a special treat, and distributed the backpacks.

“They had such a great time and are beginning to engage in so many more ways, which is so exciting! We love to see new organizations coming through the door, volunteering, and giving back. DaVita Dialysis stepped up and made a difference! We are thankful for their time, resources, and positive energy to help kick off the school year in a great way.” – Corina Conley, Associate Director of Philanthropic Giving

Client Story

Finding a Support System

Daevion* experienced frequent hospitalizations due to threats of self-harm as a means to escape conflict at his group home. He felt alone, as if no one truly cared about him. Daevion was referred to NewPath through the hospital and entered our Outpatient Therapy and Medication Management programs.

Through his therapy and treatment plan, Daevoin received the support he needed and gained the confidence to develop new relationships with other youth in his group home. NewPath provided him with the safety and care he needed to graduate high school, get a summer job, and attend Cincinnati State.

“I told him he has so much in front of him to look forward to. That he shouldn’t keep harming himself. That maybe he needs someone at his group home to talk to when he goes through those hard feelings. He found his support and is doing great. I’m so proud of him!” – NewPath Care Coordinator

NewPath’s Cuddliest Team Member

Meet Louie the Lion, NewPath’s newest and cuddliest team member. He might seem like just a little stuffed lion, but he has BIG responsibilities. For many, the lion symbolizes bravery and strength. For enrolled NewPath youth, Louie also represents HOPE. NewPath is a positive source of renewal, where children and families turn to recover and rebuild strength in the aftermath of traumatic situations.
