Founded in 1829 by The Sisters of Charity, NewPath began as an orphanage supporting children who lost their parents to the cholera epidemic, natural disasters, and poverty. Today, NewPath is a premier behavioral health, specialized education, and child welfare agency that supports children and families across Southern Ohio. NewPath has continued to meet the ever-changing needs of the community for two centuries. We ignite hope and change futures by providing access to and results from expert, specialized, and comprehensive trauma-informed care. With caring and understanding, we help our clients build resilience and the inner power they need to continue growing on their journey to recovery from past trauma.
