Dream NFL package to be auctioned at St. Joseph Orphanage Spring Gala Live Auction
Cincinnati, OH – May 8, 2014 – A dream NFL package, including tickets to the Bengals v Saints, pre-game sideline passes, hotel and airfare, will likely be the top prize at St. Joseph Orphanage Spring Gala Live Auction to be held on May 31, 2014, at Paul Brown Stadium.
The dream prize package includes airfare for two from Cincinnati to New Orleans; 3 nights’ stay at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place in the French Quarter; two tickets for the Bengals-Saints game on November 16, plus pre-game sideline passes. This once-in-lifetime NFL prize was donated by Zach Strief, former Milford High School standout and current Offensive Tackle for the Saints. Strief has a family connection to St. Joseph Orphanage—his sister Heather serves as a Clinical Director for the orphanage.
Gala attendees can also bid on a Big Apple excursion complete with Broadway show tickets or a Windy City trip including Cubs-Reds tickets. Experience packages available for bid include Cincinnati Chief of Police for a day and a day as a Cincinnati firefighter. Additionally, the list of prizes includes country club golf packages for the best courses in Cincinnati; a 50-inch Smart TV and a chef’s table dining experience for six at the Capital Grille, among others.
St. Joseph Orphanage Spring for the Stars Gala takes place May 31 at the East Club Lounge in Paul Brown Stadium. Guests can begin the evening with cocktails while taking in spectacular downtown skyline views as they bid on silent auction items. Stadium tours will also be available. After sampling hors d’oeuvres, guests will enjoy an elegant plated dinner with a choice of entrees. Local 12’s Bob Herzog will serve as emcee and auctioneer for this fun-filled Cincinnati evening.
