NewPath Child & Family Solutions (formerly St. Joseph Orphanage) would like to congratulate our very own Dr. Joseph Rieman, Chief Medical Officer, as a recipient of the Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service in the Nonprofit Executive Directors of the Year category.
A culture of Hope
Dr. Joseph Rieman or “Dr. Joe,” as he is fondly referred to by his clients and colleagues here at NewPath, is a triple board-certified medical professional. He oversees the behavioral health operations as well as all clinical providers for psychiatric services and prescribed medications. In fact, Dr. Joe is a key leader in advancing both clinical and pharmacological service expectations at NewPath.
“Rieman embodies innovation, as his leadership ensured the children and families served [by NewPath] did not lose continuity of care through the pandemic,” said Smart Business News. “He quickly adapted the organization’s mode of mental health delivery. When 2020 began, no services were delivered via distance technology; when the 2020-2021 fiscal year ended, over 56,000 services had been delivered via telehealth to children and families who would have gone untreated.”
