Welcome Tricia Mullins, Chief Impact Officer!

NewPath Child & Family Solutions (formerly St. Joseph Orphanage) announces the hiring of Tricia Mullins as Chief Impact Officer. Tricia joins the NewPath Family from Gobel Group, a leading consulting firm focusing on healthcare philanthropy, as Senior Consultant. Additionally, she worked for the Mercy Health Foundation, a nonprofit organization working to improve the quality of life of their community, as Senior Gift Officer. Tricia’s role focused on overseeing development efforts for two community hospitals, partnering with donors, and positively reengaging business leaders and residents at Mercy Health. Additionally, she planned and executed company events, including the first donor recognition event that celebrated over 200 philanthropic partners.

Below are some additional achievements from Tricia’s time at Mercy Health Foundation:

  • Secured the first single-donor, seven-figure gift in foundation history
  • Lead a $2.5 million renovation campaign, exceeding their original $1 million goal in only 16 weeks
  • Launched a comprehensive grateful patient and family program
  • Implemented a pilot paramedicine program to increase outreach to at-risk patients suffering from chronic illnesses
  • Initiated a comprehensive strategy consisting of annual engagement opportunities for corporate partners

Welcome to the NewPath Family

“I’ve witnessed Tricia’s ability to engage people around NewPath’s vision and mission and it will have a huge impact, internally and externally, as we move forward,” said Eric Cummins, CEO at NewPath. “Her experience in philanthropy and health care will generate fresh insights and perspective moving forward into our next 193 years serving kids and families.”

Tricia began her NewPath journey on January 3, 2022, and has already started inspiring both the Human Resources and Development teams. Her primary focus will be all things culture, including a focus on diversity, equality, and inclusion.

When asked, “What do you hope to bring to NewPath?” Tricia responded, “I want to transform the way we’ve been doing things in the past and move to start preparing us for the next 5, 7, or even 10 years. Holistically moving forward in this time where healthcare is so important, and understanding the deficits of the behavioral health space. Promoting an internal culture that is inclusive and fully collaborates as one team. Then extending that culture out to our clients and the community. Focusing on how we can grow this organization to be a top workplace and how to build on the impact of our passionate supporters.”

Tricia currently resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband, Scott, and two children, a daughter, and a son. Outside of work hours, she enjoys attending her daughter’s basketball games, watching sports, listening to music, volunteering, and participating in or planning social activities.

Please join us in sending a warm NewPath Family welcome to Tricia Mullins!
