St. Joseph Orphanage is proud to show our support through participation in the Mental Health Awareness Events in the community.

Spring For The Stars Gala

Our Annual Spring For the Stars Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year. We are very thankful for our Sponsors, Staff, Guests, and Hilton Netherland Plaza Staff for making the event possible. Not only are we able to raise funds for an amazing cause, but we also had the opportunity to share stories from children and youth we serve. Their stories help spread awareness for what it is like to struggle with a Mental Illness or Behavioral Health Concern and how they are overcoming it.

Fair On The Square

Fair on the Square is a great event to help spread awareness for Mental Health and the resources available. We joined 35 organizations in filling Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati with booths and activities promoting mental wellness and information on mental health and local mental health agencies. There was delicious food, music, and wellness activities.

NAMI WALK – Hamilton County

Every journey begins with that first step! We joined NAMIWalks in NAMI’s largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in the country!

Through NAMIWalks a public display of support for people with mental health challenges, we are changing how Americans view mental illness. Please join our St. Joe’s Team next year as we improve lives and our communities one step at a time.

Mental Health Awareness Proclamation Signed!

The City of Cincinnati announced the National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day is May 5. Our staff had the honor of attending the Proclamation and are proud to continue to spread awareness to educate and comfort children, youth, and families seeking Help
